Orange Increasing Partnerships with Chinese Industry

The French company Orange is becoming a key partner of several Chinese firms.

In January 2013, the firm announced an agreement with Baidu regarding the implementation of its browser on Orange phones in the Middle East and Africa starting in Egypt.

A new one was announced with Huawei at MWC 2013 in Barcelona at the time of the presentation of the Huawei Ascend P2 device. This agreement is one of several previous cooperation like memorandum of understanding signed in June 2012. Huawei praised its western partner on its website.
